Welcome to my site!
I am Jessamy Whitsitt and I would love to be your personal trainer. I currently help people find their fitness groove at a cooperative training studio based in the Wallingford/Fremont area of Seattle. I design my programs with a special emphasis on balance, flexibility, core strength and strength endurance. I keep things fun and interesting by integrating an assortment of excersises using free weights, stability balls, medicine balls, bosu balance trainers as well as simple body weight resistance among many other things. I can help you find your focus, kick your rear into gear, keep you on track with health or get you back on track!

My Education I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. My certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), using the Optimum Performance Training™ method, has taught me to assess a client's level of fitness and create reasonable and achievable goals. I also am a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and recently completed a continuation education course in flexibility training. The PES addresses elements of an integrated performance-related profile and assessment, paving the way toward optimum fitness and althletic success. Flexibiliy training explores a variety of stretching techniques including static, neuromuscular, self-myofascial releas -- active and dynamic -- designed to improve performance and decrease the risk of injury.
